Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8091.7,5 RJ-45 Cat5e 7,5 m magenta

The EFB Elektronik K8091.7,5 RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 7.5 m patch lead designed for structured cabling and point-to-point connections. Built to the Cat5e specification with U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations, the cable supports typical Ethernet applications and offers a data transfer capability up to 2500 Mbit/s. The magenta jacket makes the cable easy to identify in crowded cable runs and color-coded installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable uses U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs to maintain stable contact and reduce signal loss. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for desk-to-switch or patch panel connections without excess slack. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the flexible jacket simplifies routing and installation in office and home network environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, switches and routers
• Patch panel to switch or switch to wall outlet connections
• Structured cabling in small offices, home networks and AV racks
• Color-coded installations and cable identification tasks

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat5e
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall sheath)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Typical data transfer capability: up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Outer colour: magenta

How to use

Route the cable between equipment so that connectors align with RJ-45 ports; ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a reliable connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run to maintain signal integrity. For permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or cable management accessories to prevent movement and strain at the connector ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat5e cable within typical Ethernet distance guidelines and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. When deploying in mixed-color installations, use the magenta color for easier identification. If higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required, consider selecting cables with higher category ratings for upgrades.
