Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8100OR.7,5 RJ-45 Cat6 7,5 m oranje

The EFB Elektronik K8100OR.7,5 is a 7.5 m network patch cable compliant with the Cat6 standard and constructed with U/UTP shielding. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and supports data transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s. The bright orange jacket improves cable visibility for installations in offices, server rooms, or home networks where clear identification is required.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable offers stable gigabit-capable performance with reduced interference thanks to its U/UTP construction. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance over time. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across moderate distances without excessive slack, while the distinctive orange color makes cable runs easy to trace during setup and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in office or home networks
• Structured cabling runs within server rooms and network racks
• Temporary or permanent workstation connections where cable visibility is needed
• Audio/visual equipment and smart home device networking requiring reliable wired links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded jacket)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources such as heavy-duty motors or fluorescent ballasts when possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within standard installation practices: avoid bending radii below the cable's specification, do not subject the cable to repeated mechanical stress, and keep cable runs separate from high-voltage power lines. The bright orange colour can be used to mark specific network segments or priority connections for easy identification during maintenance.
