Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8108WS.5 RJ-45 Cat6a 5 m wit

The EFB Elektronik K8108WS.5 RJ-45 Cat6a networking cable is a 5-metre white U/UTP patch cable designed for high-speed wired LAN connections. Constructed to Cat6a specification, it supports data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and provides a reliable physical link between network devices using standard RJ-45 interfaces. Gold-plated contacts help maintain stable signal transmission and reduce contact corrosion over time.

Advantages

This Cat6a U/UTP cable delivers performance suitable for demanding network environments while remaining compatible with typical RJ-45 ports on switches, routers and network cards. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desktop, server-rack and office routing without excessive slack. Gold-plated contacts and solid connector moulding improve contact reliability and reduce the risk of connection issues caused by wear or oxidation. The white jacket provides a neutral aesthetic for visible installations and easy colour-coding in mixed-cable setups.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (Augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with unshielded overall)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Data transfer rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your computer, switch or router and the other plug to the corresponding network port of the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid stretching the cable and maintain bend radii larger than the cable diameter. When deploying in structured cabling or rack environments, use proper cable management accessories and separate power-carrying cables to reduce crosstalk. Periodically inspect connector ends for contamination and clean gently if necessary.
