Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik S/FTP PIMF Draka UC900 RJ-45 Cat6a 5 m rood

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP PIMF Draka UC900 RJ-45 Cat6a 5 m Red networking cable is a halogen-free Cat6a patch cable with S/FTP (screened/foiled twisted pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is coded to TIA/EIA 568B and uses two Hirose TM31 contacts per connector, providing reliable connections for high-speed data transmission up to 1000 MHz over a 5 m length. The red jacket allows easy visual identification in cabling environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable features S/FTP PIMF shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic gas emissions in case of fire. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors with Hirose TM31 contacts ensure consistent signal transfer and straightforward installation. Compliance with TIA/EIA 568B wiring provides compatibility with standard network equipment.

Suitable for

• Horizontal and patch cabling in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed Ethernet networks up to 10 Gbps over short runs
• Connections between switches, routers, patch panels, and endpoints
• Environments requiring easily identifiable colored cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a, TIA/EIA 568B coded
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened/foldered twisted pair), PIMF
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with Hirose TM31 contacts (2 × TM31)
• Length: 5 m
• Bandwidth: up to 1000 MHz
• Colour: Red
• Halogen-free jacket

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the patch panel or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For consistent high-speed performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths, avoid tight bundling with power cables, and use appropriate cable management to prevent excessive bending or strain on the RJ-45 connectors.
