Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A oranje 7,5 m

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A Orange 7.5 m cable is a category 6A network cable designed for high-speed, reliable wired connections. Its screened foil over twisted pair (S/FTP) construction and RJ-45 terminations deliver improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the 7.5 m length offers flexible placement between networking devices. The bright orange jacket provides easy visual identification in complex cable runs and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces noise from nearby power lines and electronic equipment, maintaining signal integrity for demanding applications. Cat.6A specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance over Cat.5e and Cat.6 at frequencies up to 500 MHz. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports and a quick plug-and-play setup. The durable outer jacket and solid connector strain relief help withstand regular handling and reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in home and small office networks
• High-speed Ethernet links for 10 Gigabit networks over short to medium distances
• Structured cabling installations requiring color-coded cabling
• Workstation and server connections where interference resistance is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil around each twisted pair plus overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Orange
• Frequency support: up to 500 MHz

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and insert each RJ-45 connector firmly until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep a reasonable distance from high-voltage power cables to minimise potential interference. For wall-mounted or rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors. Test the connection with a network tester or by checking link/activity indicators on connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii consistent with standard networking practices. Use the orange colour to organise and trace network segments in multi-cable installations. Where long continuous runs are required, consider switching to permanently installed patch panels and short patch cords to preserve cable integrity and shielding.
