Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.5e SF/UTP patchkabel RJ-45 20m beige

The equip® Cat.5e SF/UTP Patch Cord is a 20 m beige network cable designed to deliver reliable data transmission in home and office environments. Constructed from high-quality materials and complying with the EIA/TIA 568-B.2 channel standard, the cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and SF/UTP shielding to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity.

Advantages

Shielded SF/UTP design provides added protection against electromagnetic interference; gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and reduce signal loss; compliance with EIA/TIA 568-B.2 ensures compatibility with standard network installations; 20 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or room-to-room connections; neutral beige colour blends with typical office and home interiors.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Office network patching between wall outlets, switches and devices
• Home network setups requiring a longer cable run
• Environments where reduced interference is required (e.g., near electronic equipment)

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: SF/UTP
• Colour: Beige
• Weight: 0.56 kg
• Standards: EIA/TIA 568-B.2 channel compliance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device (PC, router, switch or wall outlet) and the other end to the corresponding port on the network infrastructure. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.

Recommendations

The cable is suitable for typical structured cabling applications; avoid excessive pulling force when installing and keep the bend radius within manufacturer guidelines to prevent damage to the internal pairs and shielding.
