Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patchkabel RJ-45 15m oranje

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 15 m orange network cable designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. Constructed from high-quality materials and fully tested to meet industry standards, the cable features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating for consistent signal contact. It supports 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) networks and data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference, while the Cat.6 specification ensures higher bandwidth and a better signal‑to‑noise margin compared with lower category cables. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors enhance contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The 15 m length offers flexible placement options in offices, server rooms, and home networks.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base‑T)
• Structured cabling in offices and data cabinets
• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers, and PCs
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, gold‑plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base‑T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil‑shielded pairs)
• Product colour: Orange

How to use

Plug the RJ‑45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, or computers. Ensure connectors click into place and avoid sharp bends or excessive strain on the cable to maintain signal integrity. For structured installations, route the cable along cable trays or through conduits, keeping it separated from power lines where possible to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable in gigabit network segments and replace damaged or kinked cables. Store and install the cable without tight knots and follow local cabling standards for permanent installations.
