Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patchkabel RJ-45 40 m oranje

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 40 m orange network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Constructed from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards, this Cat.6 S/FTP cable provides higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin for reliable, low-error performance in demanding network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission. Cat.6 specification delivers increased bandwidth compared with earlier categories, while RJ-45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility. The cable’s bright orange colour improves identification and routing in installations.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data centres
• High-speed Ethernet (up to Cat6 performance)
• Patch panels and network switches
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and clear cable identification

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results in installations, maintain recommended bend radius, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines, and test links after installation to verify performance meets Cat.6 requirements.
