Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patchkabel RJ-45 40m blauw

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cable RJ-45 40m in blue is a 40-metre network patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding. Built from quality materials and tested to industry standards, this Cat.6 cable offers higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin to deliver reliable, high-speed data transmission for wired networks in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving overall link stability. Cat.6 specification supports higher data rates and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables. With a 40 m length and standard RJ-45 connectors, the cable is suitable for longer runs without additional couplers and is compatible with common network devices such as computers, routers and switches.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers to switches or routers in offices and homes
• Structured cabling runs requiring up to 40 m without intermediate connections
• Network setups where reduced interference and reliable throughput are required

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices (for example, computer, switch or router). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a stable link and verify network settings on connected devices. For permanent installations, secure the cable using appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables. Use the cable within standard Cat.6 application limits and test the link after installation if used in critical network segments.
