Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 U/UTP Outdoor 305 m grijs

The equip® Outdoor Installation Cable Cat.6 U/UTP in grey is a 305 m bulk network cable designed for outdoor use. Constructed from high-quality materials and tested to meet industrial standards, this Cat.6 cable delivers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise ratio compared with Cat.5e, supporting Gigabit Ethernet data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The unshielded U/UTP design and professional grey jacket make it suitable for demanding outdoor network infrastructure.

Advantages

This Cat.6 U/UTP outdoor cable offers improved bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared to Cat.5e, enabling reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Its 305 m bulk length is convenient for large installations, and the grey outer jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance. The cable is manufactured and tested to meet industry quality standards, ensuring consistent performance for outdoor deployments.

How to use

Run the cable along the planned route, avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical stress. Terminate both ends with compatible Cat.6 RJ45 connectors or patch panels using appropriate termination tools and follow standard wiring schemes (TIA/EIA). For outdoor installation, protect cable ends and connections from moisture using suitable junction boxes, gland fittings or weatherproof enclosures.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the cable in conduit or use UV-resistant cable trays where exposed. Maintain minimum bend radii as specified for Cat.6 and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
