Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6 U/UTP Patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 20m geel

The Equip Cat.6 U/UTP Patch Cable is a 20 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and U/UTP construction to provide reliable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable's yellow color helps with identification in patch panels and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The Cat.6 construction offers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable and low-error performance in demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the U/UTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference. The 20 m length provides flexibility for longer runs between devices or racks.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and high-speed Ethernet connections
• Server rooms, data centers and network cabinets
• Connecting switches, routers, workstations and patch panels
• Structured cabling installations requiring visible cable identification

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, patch panels or switches. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is heard and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to maintain signal integrity. Route the cable along cable management paths or trays to prevent mechanical strain and reduce exposure to potential interference sources.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within rated channel lengths and pair it with Cat.6-compliant patch panels and connectors. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment to minimize electromagnetic interference.
