Netwerkkabel Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 20m rood

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 20m Red is a high-performance network patch cable engineered for 10GBase-T networks and data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed from premium materials and fully tested to industry standards, the S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) design and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide improved signal integrity and reduced interference for demanding networking environments.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP construction offers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower category cables, supporting stable 10G performance over a 20 m run. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the fully shielded design minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The cable’s red jacket allows easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections in data centres and server rooms
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers, backup and virtualization
• Structured cabling runs and patch panels where interference protection is required

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.745 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your switch, router or network interface and the other end to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched. For best performance maintain recommended bend radius, avoid tight kinks and keep the cable clear of high-power electrical equipment to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for short to medium-length 10G links up to 20 m and in environments where shielding against electromagnetic interference is important. For longer runs consult installation standards and consider using routed conduits or reinforced cabling where mechanical protection is required.
