Netwerkkabel Garbot B-02-60150 grijs 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The Garbot B-02-60150 is a 1.5 m Cat6 networking patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP construction with individually foil-shielded pairs and a full braid shield to reduce interference. Both ends have screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for durability and flexible routing in tight spaces.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable provides improved noise immunity thanks to complete braid shielding and aluminium-clad polyester foil around each pair. Gold-plated contacts on the screened RJ-45 connectors ensure stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The moulded strain-relief boots increase connector longevity and the stranded copper conductors maintain flexibility for installation in narrow bends.

Suitable for

• Home and office Ethernet connections
• Connecting routers, switches, computers and networked devices
• LAN wiring where reduced electromagnetic interference is required
• Short patch runs and workspace cabling up to 1.5 m

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6
• Length: 1.5 m
• Construction: 4-pair stranded copper wire
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil shielded pairs + braid)
• Connectors: Screened RJ-45 — gold-plated contacts
• Contact wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each screened RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, ensuring a secure click. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and maintain gentle bends to preserve the braided and foil shielding. For best performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and coils of excess cable to minimise possible interference.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short patch runs and device connections within 1.5 m; avoid stretching the cable and ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain shielding effectiveness.
