Netwerkkabel Garbot B-02-62800 10 m Cat6 S/FTP grijs

The Garbot B-02-62800 is a 10 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable designed for reliable wired connections between network devices. It uses 4-pair stranded copper conductors with full braid shielding and each pair wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil. The cable is fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for durability and flexible routing in tight spaces.

Advantages

Constructed to Cat6 standard with S/FTP shielding, this cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on high-quality RJ-45 plugs ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The moulded kink protection and flexible jacket allow for easy installation in narrow bends while maintaining mechanical robustness.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office network links between switches, routers and workstations
• High-speed data transfer applications up to Cat6 performance
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil-screened pairs)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Contacts: Gold plated
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: Grey
• Wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, modem, or network card) and the other end to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable avoiding excessive sharp bends or pinch points; use the flexible jacket and kink protection to pass through tight spaces if needed. Follow standard network setup and testing procedures to verify link status and performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for runs up to 10 m and keep it away from strong electrical noise sources. Test connections with appropriate network tools after installation and replace the cable if connectors or shielding are physically damaged.
