Netwerkkabel Gembird PP6U-1M RJ-45 Cat6 1m geel

The Gembird PP6U-1M is a 1 m Cat6 networking patch cable with RJ-45 8P8C moulded plugs and 24 AWG stranded conductors. Designed as an unshielded U/UTP patch cord with 50 µ" gold-plated contacts, it provides reliable Ethernet connections for home and small office networks. Its yellow jacket helps with cable identification and organization.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports higher data rates and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, while the moulded strain relief increases connector durability. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, and the 1 m length is suitable for short links between devices where a compact, identifiable cable is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers over short distances
• Patch panels and wall ports in small offices or home networks
• Quick identification in cable bundles and network racks

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (U/UTP)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 8P8C on both ends
• Conductor: 24 AWG stranded
• Shielding: unshielded (U/UTP)
• Contacts: 50 µ" gold plating
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the device network port until the connector latch clicks. Use the 1 m Gembird PP6U-1M cable for direct connections between nearby devices such as a PC to a switch or a switch to a patch panel. Avoid excessive bending near the moulded strain relief to maintain performance and connector life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 patch cord for connections up to 1 m in typical Ethernet setups and avoid running alongside high-power electrical cables to reduce interference. Replace the cable if the jacket or connector shows visible wear.
