Netwerkkabel Gembird PP6U-2M RJ-45 Cat6 2m geel

The Gembird PP6U-2M is a 2 m Cat6 networking patch cable with RJ-45 8P8C connectors and moulded strain relief. The unshielded U/UTP construction uses 24 AWG stranded conductors and features 50µ" gold-plated contacts to ensure stable signal transmission. The cable comes in yellow for easy identification in racks and cabling runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 patch cord supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds and is suitable for typical LAN and data center patching. The moulded strain relief improves connector durability, and gold-plated contacts help reduce contact resistance. Its 2 m length provides a balance between reach and tidy cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network ports within racks
• Patch panels and wall sockets in offices and server rooms
• Home and small office Ethernet connections requiring Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (U/UTP)
• Length: 2 m
• Conductor: 24 AWG stranded
• Connectors: RJ-45 (8P8C) with moulded strain relief
• Contacts: 50µ" gold-plated

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; use cable ties or organisers for neat management. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines and large transformers.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit connections, use this Cat6 patch cord for short runs between networking equipment and patch panels. Replace the cable if the moulded connector or contacts show visible damage.
