Netwerkkabel Gembird PP8-LSZHCU-BK-5M RJ-45 Cat8 5m zwart

Patch cord with foil shielded pairs and braided cable, CAT 8 provides high-performance, shielded network connectivity suitable for data centers and demanding LAN environments. The cable features gold plated connectors and contacts for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance, along with an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket for reduced toxic fumes in case of fire. Molded strain reliefs and snagless boots protect the connector ends and simplify cable handling.

Advantages

This CAT 8 patch cord offers enhanced shielding with foil-wrapped pairs and an overall braided shield to minimize electromagnetic interference. Gold plated connectors ensure stable contact and long-term durability. The LSZH outer jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions, improving safety in enclosed spaces. Molded strain reliefs and snagless boots reduce stress on the cable and prevent accidental connector damage during installation.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one end of the CAT 8 patch cord to your network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click into place. Avoid excessive bending near the molded strain reliefs and do not compress the cable tightly to preserve shielding integrity and signal performance.

Recommendations

Use this patch cord in shielded installations and environments requiring high data rates. Maintain bend radius guidelines and avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines to minimize interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
