Netwerkkabel GOOBAY 55433 Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 – 15 m, zwart

GOOBAY 55433 is a 15 m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors, finished in black. The cable features gold-plated RJ-45 plugs designed to reduce contact resistance and maintain signal integrity over typical home and office distances. It is intended for wired Ethernet connections between computers, routers, switches and other devices that use standard RJ-45 ports.

Advantages

The Cat6 U/UTP construction provides transmission characteristics suitable for Gigabit Ethernet within the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and help minimise signal loss at the plug interface. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within structured cabling runs while maintaining a single, continuous cable for stable data transfer.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers to routers or switches
• Linking network switches within an office or home rack
• Establishing a wired connection for gaming consoles or smart TVs
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet runs where a 15 m cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 U/UTP
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the respective devices until the plug clicks into place. Ensure connectors are fully seated on both ends and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to preserve transmission performance. For fixed installations, route the cable along skirting boards or through cable management channels to reduce tension and prevent damage to the connector ends.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large power transformers or unshielded mains wiring. When installing in permanent runs, avoid excessive bending radii and secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the cable jacket.
