Netwerkkabel GOOBAY 68508 Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 — 5 m, wit

GOOBAY 68508 is a 5 m Cat5e U/UTP network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet connections. The unshielded twisted pair construction minimises crosstalk and supports stable data transmission for typical home and small office networks. A white outer jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for visible installations along walls or behind furniture.

Advantages

The cable supports gigabit Ethernet speeds defined by the Cat5e specification and is compatible with standard RJ-45 ports on computers, routers and switches. Its U/UTP design reduces electromagnetic interference between pairs without additional shielding, making it lightweight and flexible for straightforward installations. The 5 m length covers common distances between devices within rooms while the white jacket blends into most interior environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers to routers or switches
• Wired connections for smart TVs, game consoles and media players
• Small office local area network (LAN) connections
• Temporary or permanent in-room cabling where a 5 m reach is sufficient

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded/unscreened twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Supported Ethernet standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, router, switch or other network device and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; keep it away from high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference. For wall or furniture runs, use cable clips or cable ties to secure the cable and maintain a neat installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks, and do not exceed the recommended in-room distance for copper Ethernet cabling. If installations require runs longer than 5 m or routing through walls and ceilings, consider planning cable paths in advance and using longer cables or wall plates as appropriate.
