Netwerkkabel GOOBAY 96093 Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) grijs 50 m

GOOBAY 96093 is a 50 m Cat6 network cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding in grey, designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet. The cable is supplied without pre-attached connectors, allowing custom termination for patch panels, wall sockets or bespoke installations. The combination of foil and braided shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to support reliable gigabit LAN performance in home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable features a stranded AWG 26/7 copper conductor and a low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH) sheath for improved safety in enclosed spaces. S/FTP (S-STP) shielding provides both overall braid and individual pair foil protection to minimise EMI and near-end crosstalk. Supplied on a 50 m reel and finished in grey, the cable offers flexibility for custom installations and conforms to Cat6 performance requirements for 10/100/1000Base-T(X).

Suitable for

• Home gigabit Ethernet networks
• Office LAN installations and structured cabling
• Termination to patch panels, keystone jacks and wall sockets
• Environments requiring LSZH cable sheathing

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 50 m reel, strip the outer sheath and prepare individual pairs according to industry termination standards (e.g. T568A/T568B). Fit appropriate RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks or punch down to patch panels and test each link with a network tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance up to gigabit speeds.

Recommendations

For best results, follow recognised cabling practices: maintain correct pair untwist length, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension, separate from strong electrical power cables to reduce interference, and use appropriate shielded connectors and grounding when deploying S/FTP cable.
