Netwerkkabel GOOBAY Cat6 0,5 m, 2×RJ-45, oranje

The Goobay 0.50m networking cable features two RJ-45 male connectors and conforms to Cat6 specifications. Its 0.50 metre length is suitable for short connections between network devices. The cable has gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission and an orange jacket for clear visual identification in cabling setups.

Advantages

Cat6 specification ensures support for higher data rates and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier categories. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact quality. The short 0.5 m length minimises excess cable clutter and is convenient for rack- or desk-level connections. The orange colour helps with cable organisation and quick identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or workstation to a nearby switch or patch panel
• Short patch connections in server racks or network cabinets
• Linking networked devices in office desks or home network setups

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector gender: male — male
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: orange

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the respective Ethernet port of the devices to be connected until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and keep it clear of power cables to reduce interference. For patching in cabinets, label both ends if required for easier identification.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6 patch cable for close-proximity connections where minimal cable slack is desired; avoid stretching the cable and maintain gentle bend radii to preserve signal integrity.
