Netwerkkabel Lindy RJ45 Cat.6 U/FTP 2m RJ-45 Cat6 wit

The Lindy RJ45 Cat.6 U/FTP 2m networking cable provides a straightforward, standards-compliant connection for Gigabit Ethernet and related network applications. At 2 meters long and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable uses Cat.6 specification and U/FTP shielding to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The white outer jacket makes it suitable for visible installations in home or office environments while supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology for reliable data transmission.

Advantages

This Lindy Cat.6 cable combines Cat.6 performance with U/FTP (overall foil plus individually foiled pairs) shielding to deliver improved signal integrity compared with unshielded alternatives. The fixed 2 m length keeps installations tidy without excess cable slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with switches, routers, network interfaces and patch panels. The white jacket provides a neutral aesthetic and helps keep visible cabling discreet.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Patch cabling between wall outlets and patch panels in small offices
• Home networking setups where a short, reliable Ethernet connection is required
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: Category 6 (Cat.6)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Gigabit Ethernet compatible)
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into the corresponding port of a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locked to establish a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable and route it away from high-power electrical equipment to reduce potential interference. If connecting to shielded equipment, ensure proper grounding of the network infrastructure to benefit fully from the U/FTP shielding.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Lindy Cat.6 U/FTP cable for short runs where Gigabit performance and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines; for installations longer than 2 m, choose an appropriate longer cable to prevent signal loss and maintain tidy cable management.
