Netwerkkabel LogiLink Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 1m blauw

The LogiLink Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 1m Blue is a 1-metre networking cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. It uses Cat6 specification and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair with individual pair foil) construction with bare copper conductors and RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable signal transfer. The cable jacket is LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) for reduced toxic emissions in case of fire and the product meets standards ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and PIMF (pairs in metal foil) design minimize electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for more stable connections. Bare copper conductors provide good conductivity and the Cat6 rating supports higher bandwidth compared with earlier categories. The LSZH jacket offers improved safety in enclosed or public spaces, and the 1 m length with blue colouring makes the cable convenient for short runs and easy to identify in networking setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers over short distances
• Wired LAN connections in homes and small offices
• Patch panel and patching between network devices
• Environments requiring low-smoke cabling (public buildings, server rooms)

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6 S/FTP (shielded, PIMF)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: bare copper
• Wire gauge: AWG 27/7
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 40 g

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices (for example, computer to switch or router). Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks that could degrade performance. For patching in racks or panels, label both ends if needed for easier identification.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short-distance Ethernet connections where reduced electromagnetic interference and LSZH safety are desired. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive mechanical stress or fluids; maintain bend radius guidelines to preserve signal quality.
