Netwerkkabel LogiLink CAT6 S-FTP RJ-45 3m grijs

The LogiLink CAT6 S-FTP RJ-45 3m Grey networking cable is a 3-meter Cat6 patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for reliable wired Ethernet connections. Constructed to the Cat6 standard and using S-FTP (overall foil with individually foil-shielded pairs) shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for stable data transmission in home and office networks. The grey jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

The S-FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) improves protection against external interference and minimizes internal crosstalk, which helps maintain signal integrity at gigabit speeds. Conformance to Cat6 cabling technology supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, enabling reliable data throughput for typical wired network setups. The molded RJ-45 connectors provide a standard, secure connection to routers, switches, network cards and patch panels. The 3 m length offers moderate reach for desktop, cabinet or small-room connections while keeping cable slack manageable.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, network printers or IP phones to a switch or router
• Patch panel to switch connections in small server closets or office racks
• Home router to media player or smart TV wired connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S-FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Supported network speeds: 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the network switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain gentle curves to preserve conductor geometry and shielding effectiveness. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S-FTP cable for wired gigabit network segments where reduced interference is important. For long cable runs beyond 3 m or installations requiring concealed wiring, select appropriate cable lengths and installation-grade cabling. When connecting to unshielded devices or infrastructure, confirm continuity of shielding at both ends if shielded connectors or patch panels are used to benefit from the S-FTP design.
