Netwerkkabel LogiLink CQ2102S RJ-45 Cat6 15m grijs

The LogiLink CQ2102S RJ-45 Cat6 15m Grey is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for stable Gigabit-class data transmission in wired networks. Built to the Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding and copper-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 15-metre cable aims to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain consistent signal integrity over longer runs. Its grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable offers improved performance compared with lower-category cables through better crosstalk and noise protection provided by S/FTP shielding. Copper-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact conductivity and contact durability for reliable connection points. The 15 m length covers medium-distance runs between switches, routers and wall outlets without requiring additional extenders. The cable’s construction balances flexibility and mechanical protection to simplify routing in office or home environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office workstations and local area networks (LAN)
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices and desktop computers
• Temporary or permanent patching in wiring cabinets and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with copper-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on network devices until the latch clicks into place. For best performance, avoid tight bends with a radius smaller than the cable’s minimum bend recommendation and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers. Use the 15 m length to connect devices across rooms or between racks and wall outlets; if running the cable in ceilings or conduit, ensure the jacket type is suitable for that environment.

Recommendations

For sustained Gigabit throughput, pair this Cat6 S/FTP cable with network equipment that supports Gigabit Ethernet and ensure connectors and ports are free of dust. When installing in structured cabling, label both ends and avoid kinking to preserve shielding and impedance characteristics.
