Netwerkkabel LOGON APR6A100B Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) blauw 10 m RJ-45-RJ-45

LOGON APR6A100B Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) Blue 10 m RJ-45–RJ-45 is a 10-metre blue network patch cable built to support high-speed Ethernet and structured cabling environments. The cable features individually foil-wrapped twisted pairs and an overall braided shield to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for Cat6a-class links. Both ends terminate in standard RJ-45 plugs for straightforward connection to switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S-STP) construction provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, making it suitable for installations near power lines or dense electronic equipment. The Cat6a specification ensures support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over typical short to medium runs, while the 10 m length offers flexibility for office desks, rack-to-desk connections or home networking. The blue jacket aids visual identification in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office and data centre racks
• High-speed workstation or server connections up to Cat6a performance
• Home network wiring where shielded cable is preferred to reduce interference
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs requiring a 10 m length

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil-wrapped pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 (straight male on both ends)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices until the latch clicks. Ensure that both ends are fully seated and that connected equipment is powered and configured according to network requirements. For shielded cable, verify that connected devices or patch panels provide appropriate grounding to maintain shielding effectiveness. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the cable run to preserve transmission performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium-length links where Cat6a performance and shielding are required. Route away from high-power electrical wiring when possible, and secure the cable with gentle clips or Velcro ties rather than zip ties to prevent deformation of the jacket and internal pairs.
