Netwerkkabel LOGON TCU66U010M Cat6 U/UTP magenta 1 m RJ-45–RJ-45

LOGON TCU66U010M Cat6 U/UTP magenta 1 m is a 1 metre patch cable designed for Ethernet connections up to Category 6 performance. The cable features a U/UTP construction with four twisted pairs (4 x 2 AWG 26/7) and two RJ-45 male connectors, providing a compact magenta-coloured solution for patching and device interconnection in office and home network environments.

Advantages

The cable’s unshielded U/UTP design delivers reliable Cat6 signal transmission for data rates commonly required in modern local networks while remaining flexible and easy to route in cable trays or behind racks. Each end includes a boot with kink protection and strain relief to reduce wear at connector points and extend service life. Category 6 performance characteristics and consistent pair impedance (100 Ohm) support stable connectivity between switches, routers and network devices.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and patch panels in office racks
• Connecting routers, modems or network printers to local networks
• Short links between desktop workstations and wall ports
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home network setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (unshielded, U/UTP)
• Conductor: 4 x 2 AWG 26/7 (stranded copper)
• Characteristic impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Length: 1 metre
• Colour: magenta
• Boot: integrated with kink protection and strain relief
• Certification level: Category 6 performance (3P category 6 certified)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable for patching between patch panels and switches, connecting a router or modem to a switch, or linking a workstation to a wall outlet. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight kinks; the boots provide additional protection at the connector ends but do not replace proper cable management. For best performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and avoid electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6 performance, use this cable for links up to typical horizontal distances of a few metres; for longer permanent runs, consider in-wall or shielded solutions as required by your installation. Maintain gentle bend radii and secure connections at both ends; periodic inspection of connector boots and strain relief will help ensure long-term usability.
