Netwerkkabel Nedis CCGL85220GY20 RJ-45 Cat6 2 m grijs

The Nedis CCGL85220GY20 is a 2 m RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable designed for connecting PCs, notebooks, switches or other devices to modems or routers. It supports network speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit) and features SF/UTP shielding with gold-plated contacts and a grey jacket for standard installation environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable combines an overall braided shield and foil shield with individually unshielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). The cable uses CCA stranded conductors with straight-through wiring and snagless RJ-45 plugs to help prevent connector damage and cable cracking while maintaining reliable connectivity.

Suitable for

• Home and small office LAN connections
• Connecting PCs, notebooks, switches or routers
• Gigabit Ethernet networks up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Patch panel and cabinet cabling over short runs (2 m)

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Standard: Cat6
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: SF/UTP (braid + foil outer shield, unshielded pairs)
• Conductors: CCA stranded
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, PC to router, switch to modem). Ensure connectors click into place and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. Use the 2 m length for short-range connections where a direct patch cable is required.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are compromised.
