Netwerkkabel Renkforce RF-4149876 15m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The Renkforce RF-4149876 15m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for network devices. Built to Cat6a standards with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this 15-metre cable supports data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding Ethernet applications. The grey jacket offers a neutral, unobtrusive look for both home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP (shielded foil over individual pairs with an overall braided shield) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity across longer runs. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance, while Cat6a specification ensures compatibility with 10 Gigabit Ethernet where ambient conditions and connected equipment allow. The 15 m length offers flexibility for equipment placement without compromising bandwidth.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within homes, small offices, and data closets
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices, and desktop PCs
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, large file transfers, and online gaming
• Structured cabling where reduced interference and stable throughput are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil on each pair plus overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your router, switch, computer, or networked device until they click into place. Route the 15 m cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce exposure to sources of strong electromagnetic interference, such as large motors or unshielded power cables. For wall-mounted or concealed runs, ensure the cable is compatible with local installation codes and use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair this Cat6a S/FTP cable with network equipment that supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and use compatible shielded connectors or patch panels when integrating into shielded installations. Avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii recommended by industry standards to preserve impedance characteristics and signal quality.
