Netwerkkabel ROLINE 21.15.2606 Grijs 7,5m Cat6 S/FTP

The ROLINE 21.15.2606 Grey 7.5m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a shielded gigabit-capable connection for home and office networks. This Cat6 cable with S/FTP (foil over each pair plus overall braid) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable high-speed data transmission. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for straightforward connection to switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The neutral grey jacket is suitable for visible installations and fits standard structured cabling environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with electrical noise and dense cable bundles. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance compared with lower categories, enabling stable gigabit Ethernet and improved headroom for applications that require low latency. Precision-terminated RJ-45 plugs provide consistent contact and straightforward plug-and-play installation with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Patch panel to wall outlet or switch to workstation connections
• Cabling runs in areas with potential electromagnetic interference
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring a 7.5 m reach

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around pairs + overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Outer colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch or network port) and the other into the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until you hear or feel the latch click. Avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from high-voltage power lines to maintain signal quality. For wall or patch installations, route the cable along cable management channels or tie points to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Ethernet deployments, avoid sharp bends (minimum bend radius typically four times the cable diameter), and separate the cable from strong interference sources such as large motors or unshielded power cables. Verify network device settings and perform link tests after installation to confirm gigabit connectivity and signal integrity.
