Netwerkkabel ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP stekker S-STP 7m geel

S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, yellow, 7.5 m. The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends is intended for reliable network connections and high-speed data transmission. It follows the Cat6a standard and is suitable for use in structured cabling where shielding and reduced interference are required.

Advantages

The cable is a prepared, double-shielded twisted pair (S/FTP) patch cable offering complete braid shielding with each pair additionally shielded by aluminium-clad polyester foil. It features high-quality RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for improved durability. The flexible stranded copper construction allows narrow bending and easy routing while maintaining contact wiring 1:1 in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and network devices
• High-speed LAN applications compliant with Cat6a requirements
• Environments where electromagnetic interference must be minimised
• Structured cabling in offices, server rooms and data closets

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a (Component Level)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7 m
• Cable jacket: LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (switch, router, PC or patch panel) and the other into the corresponding port of the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive bending; use existing cable management paths where possible to prevent strain on the moulded kink protection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in shielded environments or where cable runs are routed near sources of EMI. Maintain proper grounding of connected equipment and avoid tight coils; replace the cable if connectors or jacket show visible damage.
