Netwerkkabel ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Patchkabel Cat.6 RJ-45 7,0 m groen

ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch Cord Cat.6, 7.0 m, Green — a prepared patch cable for networking connections between devices. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with individual pair foil shielding and a complete braid (S/FTP), and is terminated with screened RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. Contact wiring is 1:1 according to EIA/TIA 568. The moulded kink protection and flexible jacket support narrow bending and durable use.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction provides effective protection against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable contact and long-term conductivity. The moulded strain relief increases connector durability while the flexible cable jacket permits installation in confined spaces. Category 6 design supports reliable performance for typical Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in office and home networks
• Patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling
• Short runs where reduced interference is required (e.g., near power lines or other cabling)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6, EIA/TIA 568 wiring (1:1)
• Length: 7 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — screened, gold-plated contacts
• Cable construction: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual foil for pairs)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Plug one screened RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the socket on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp kinks and avoid tight bends beyond the cable’s bend radius to maintain performance. For installations near strong electromagnetic sources, position the cable to maximise shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the patch cord for in-room connections and patch panels rather than as permanent in-wall cabling. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices and replace if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
