Netwerkkabel rood Cat7 S/FTP 0,25 m ShiverPeaks

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable Red Cat7 S/FTP 0.25m is a short patch cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections in confined spaces. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a foil-plus-braid (S/FTP) shielding design to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. With Cat7 performance characteristics, this 0.25 m cable supports advanced networking standards and is intended for reliable links between devices such as routers, switches, network interface cards and patch panels in home or office environments.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually foiled pairs to provide enhanced protection against external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for stable signal transmission. The short 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and signal degradation in dense rack or desktop setups while maintaining Cat7 performance for high data rates.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between network devices in racks or desktops
• Linking switches to patch panels in confined spaces
• Connecting gaming consoles, media players or networked drives to routers
• Use in home offices and small business network setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Color: Red
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your device and the other end to the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Use the short length to route the cable neatly behind equipment or inside racks to minimize looped slack and reduce potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if mechanical wear compromises connection quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use this short Cat7 S/FTP cable for connections where minimal length is needed to limit signal loss and maintain tidy installations.
