Netwerkkabel S/CONN RJ45-RJ45 ShiverPeaks 75526-W 20m

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN RJ45-RJ45 networking cable is a 20 m Cat7 cable designed for reliable high-speed network connections. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure consistent contact and low transmission loss, while the white jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable data transfer rates for demanding applications. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and enhance long-term connector performance. The 20 m length covers longer distances without intermediate patching, and the Cat7 specification enables high bandwidth and low latency suitable for modern wired networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems in homes and small offices
• Wired connections for gaming consoles and desktop PCs
• High-bandwidth streaming and media servers
• Structured cabling where shielded cables are preferred to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 20 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: white jacket
• Suitable for Gigabit and multi-Gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the LAN port of your router, switch or modem and the other end to the network device such as a PC, console or access point. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; maintain a gentle bend radius near connectors. For installations in areas with potential electromagnetic interference, ensure proper grounding of network equipment and keep the cable clear of mains power lines where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid kinking the cable and do not exceed the recommended bend radius; use cable clips or ties to secure runs without compressing the jacket. In mixed-cable installations, separate shielded network cables from high-voltage power cables to minimize noise. Regularly inspect connector contacts for dirt and ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain stable connections.
