Netwerkkabel Sandberg UTP Cat6 RJ-45 1 m wit

The Sandberg UTP Cat6 RJ-45 network cable (1 m, white) is a single‑meter patch cable for connecting computers, modems, LAN devices and switches. Built to the CAT6 standard, it supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) with improved transfer stability and reduced packet loss, while remaining backward compatible with 10 and 100 Mbit/s networks. The cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP shielding to minimise interference and ensure reliable data transmission.

Advantages

The Cat6 specification provides higher signal integrity and bandwidth compared with Cat5e, enabling more stable 1000 Mbit/s connections. The U/UTP construction and quality RJ-45 connectors reduce electromagnetic interference and connection issues. The 1 m length and white colour make this cable suitable for tidy desktop or rack installations where a short, discreet link is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a broadband modem or router
• Linking switches or patch panels in small networks
• Wiring between network devices in distributor boxes or cabinets

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable to connect computers, switches, routers or patch panels. For best performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables or large transformers.

Recommendations

For optimal Gigabit performance, use this Cat6 cable in short runs (like this 1 m version) and ensure network interfaces are configured for 1000 Mbit/s full duplex. Inspect connectors for secure seating and replace the cable if physical damage or persistent connection errors occur.
