Netwerkkabel Sharkoon patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2m wit

The Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 2m White network cable is a shielded patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office networks. Built to Cat.7a standard with SFTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors, this 2 meter cable supports stable data transmission for bandwidth-intensive tasks while maintaining a compact, easy-to-route form factor. The white jacket provides a neutral, neat appearance suitable for visible cable runs.

Advantages

The SFTP construction combines foil and braided shielding around individual pairs and the overall cable, reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in crowded cable environments. Cat.7a specification enables higher frequency operation and improved headroom for multi-gigabit and low-latency connections. RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports and consumer networking equipment. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and minimal excess cable, and the white outer jacket resists visible dirt while blending with light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting gaming PCs, consoles, or streaming devices to routers or switches
• High-bandwidth home or small office wired networks
• Linking networked storage, media servers, or multi-gigabit equipment
• 短-distance patching in wall outlets, patch panels, and desk setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7a
• Shielding: SFTP (individual pair foil + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C)
• Length: 2 meters
• Colour: White
• Suitable frequency range: supports higher-frequency transmissions for multi-gigabit networking

How to use

Route the cable between devices so that bends remain gentle and strain on connectors is minimised. Insert RJ-45 plugs firmly into the corresponding LAN ports until they click. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines or other strong EMI sources. When installing in patch panels or wall outlets, ensure connectors are fully seated and secured to prevent intermittent connections.

Recommendations

For sustained multi-gigabit throughput, pair the cable with compatible Cat.7a-capable switches, routers, or NICs. Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for structured cabling and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if insulation or shielding shows wear.
