Netwerkkabel Sharkoon Sharkoon patch-netwerkkabel SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 1 meter zwart

The Sharkoon patch network cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 1 meter black is a shielded Ethernet cable designed to provide stable, high-speed wired connections for home and office networks. Compliant with Category 7a specifications and fitted with RJ-45 connectors, this 1 m cable supports fast data transfer rates and is suitable for short-distance connections between routers, switches, PCs, consoles and other networked devices. The black outer sheath offers a discreet appearance while the SFTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference for consistent signal quality.

Advantages

This SFTP Cat.7a cable delivers up to 10 Gbps throughput for demanding network tasks while its shielding lowers crosstalk and external interference. The RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, and the 1 meter length makes the cable convenient for compact setups and tidy cable management. Its robust outer jacket provides basic mechanical protection and everyday durability without compromising flexibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting router to switch or wall outlet in a home or small office
• Wired connections for desktop computers, network-attached storage (NAS) and gaming consoles
• Short-distance links in patch panels or network racks
• Applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference, such as near power supplies or multiple bundled cables

• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C)
• Shielding: SFTP (overall foil + braided shield and individual pair foil)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Length: 1 meter
• Color: black
• Cable jacket: flexible PVC (outer sheath)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port of your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 1 m Sharkoon SFTP patch cable to link a router, switch, PC, console or NAS for a wired network connection. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends to maintain signal integrity. For installation in patch panels or rack-mounted hardware, route the cable to prevent strain and allow adequate slack for maintenance.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from high-power mains wiring and sources of radio-frequency interference. Use the 1 m length for tidy connections in compact setups; when routing multiple cables together, maintain consistent orientation of connectors and avoid tight bundling to preserve shielding effectiveness.
