Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 08-35150 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patchkabel, afgeschermde paren, 8P8C-stekker

ShiverPeaks 08-35150 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable is designed for high-speed Ethernet networks where shielded pair construction and reliable connectors are required. The cable follows Cat 7 specification with individually shielded pairs (U/UTP) and standard 8P8C (RJ45) connectors to deliver consistent data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference in office and data‑closet environments. With a 1.5 m length and a neutral grey sheath, this patch cable is intended for short links between network switches, routers, patch panels and servers.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat 7 design with shielded pairs reduces crosstalk and helps maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies compared with lower category patch cords. Standard 8P8C (RJ45) connectors provide broad compatibility with Ethernet ports. A 1.5 m length minimizes excess cable clutter in patching areas while the flexible outer jacket supports routing through racks and conduits.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and patch panels in office racks
• Connections from routers to access switches in data closets
• Short server-to-switch links in small to medium data rooms
• High‑speed Ethernet installations requiring improved noise immunity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7
• Shielding: U/UTP (shielded pairs with overall unshielded cable)
• Connector type: 8P8C (RJ45) on both ends
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: grey
• Use case: patch cable for Ethernet networking

How to use

Insert each RJ45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable for horizontal and vertical patching within racks, connecting switches, routers, patch panels and servers. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain bend radius equal to at least four times the cable diameter. Keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, confirm network equipment supports the intended speed and duplex settings and keep cable runs within recommended patch lengths. Regularly inspect connectors for debris or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plug is compromised.
