Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75515-SLR CAT 7 U/FTP plat RJ45 — afgeschermd, RJ45 gemonteerd

ShiverPeaks 75515-SLR CAT 7 U/FTP flat RJ45 is a shielded, flat Ethernet cable terminated with an RJ45 connector, designed for installations that require high-speed, interference-resistant networking in a compact profile. As a CAT 7 cable with U/FTP construction, it features individually foiled pairs and an overall slim flat jacket that eases routing along walls, under carpets, and through tight spaces while maintaining signal integrity for demanding home, office, and audio-visual setups.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving stability in environments with many electronic devices or long cable runs. The flat design minimizes cable height, allowing discrete installation under flooring or against baseboards and simplifying cable management. Terminated with a standard RJ45 plug, the cable is ready for immediate use with network switches, routers, patch panels, and AV equipment supporting Ethernet.

Suitable for

• Wired home and small office networks requiring shielded connections
• AV installations where a low-profile cable route is needed (under carpets or along skirting)
• High-speed Ethernet links and data transfers within local networks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7, supporting high-bandwidth Ethernet applications
• Conductor arrangement: U/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Form factor: flat/slim jacket for low-profile routing
• Connector: RJ45 terminated for plug-and-play use
• Shielding: pair-level foil shielding with overall jacket for enhanced EMI protection

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connector into the corresponding port on a network device such as a router, switch, or network interface. Route the flat cable along the chosen path—along skirting boards, under carpets, or through cable channels—to maintain a neat installation. Avoid sharp bends or kinks at the connector area and do not pinch the cable in doors or windows. For best performance, keep the cable runs within recommended Ethernet length limits and avoid running parallel and in close proximity to high-power electrical lines.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, ensure connectors are fully seated and test the link speed after installation. In areas with strong electromagnetic sources, verify shield continuity to grounded equipment or patch panels to take full advantage of the U/FTP shielding. Use gentle curves when routing under flooring to prevent deformation of the flat profile.
