Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75517-SLW CAT 7 U/FTP plat RJ45

Flat network cable ShiverPeaks 75517-SLW CAT 7 U/FTP with RJ45 connectors is a slim, shielded Ethernet cable engineered for high-performance wired networks. The cable uses individually shielded twisted pairs within an overall foil shield (U/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Its flat profile and slim construction make it suitable for discreet installation along walls, under carpets, or through tight routing channels while maintaining support for gigabit and higher speed networking.

Advantages

This CAT 7 U/FTP cable provides enhanced signal integrity due to foil-shielded individual pairs and an overall shield, minimizing interference in environments with multiple electronic devices or parallel cables. The flat, low-profile design allows easy routing in confined spaces and helps reduce bending stress at connector ends. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance, while the durable outer jacket offers mechanical protection for regular home or office use.

Suitable for

• Wired home network installations requiring high bandwidth and reduced interference
• Office LAN connections between workstations, switches and patch panels
• Temporary or permanent routing under carpets, along baseboards, or through narrow conduits
• Connections to gigabit and multi-gigabit network equipment where shielded cabling is recommended

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7 (U/FTP shielding: overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper conductors suitable for Ethernet signal transmission
• Connector type: RJ45 plug compatible with standard Ethernet ports
• Profile: flat, slim cable cross-section for low-profile routing
• Jacket color: white
• Length: 7.5 m

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (router, switch, modem or computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Route the flat cable along baseboards, under carpets, or through cable channels to maintain a tidy installation. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling during installation. For best performance, ensure connectors are fully seated and ports are free of debris.

Recommendations

Use this shielded flat cable in environments with potential electromagnetic interference or where cable routing requires a low-profile solution. For outdoor exposure or direct burial, select a cable rated for those conditions. When connecting to patch panels or shielded equipment, ensure proper grounding of the network to benefit fully from the U/FTP shielding.
