Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75520-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP platte kabel

ShiverPeaks 75520-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP flat cable is a slim network cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet and structured cabling in homes, offices and installations where space and routing flexibility matter. The cable follows CAT 7 specifications with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs (U/FTP) to support stable signal transmission and reduced crosstalk. Its flat profile allows discrete routing under carpets, along skirting boards or through narrow channels without bulky bends, making it suitable for visible indoor installations and data cabinet connections.

Advantages

The CAT 7 U/FTP design provides enhanced pair-to-pair shielding that improves signal integrity in environments with many adjacent cables or electronic devices. The flat, slim construction reduces cable height and simplifies routing along walls and floors while maintaining mechanical flexibility. Compatible with standard RJ45 patching and connectors, the cable supports high-frequency performance and reliable data transfer for modern Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Indoor Ethernet cabling in homes and apartments
• Office workstation and patch panel connections
• Routing under carpets, along skirting boards or through narrow conduits
• Connections between network switches, routers and end devices

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7 performance for high-frequency Ethernet
• Shielding: U/FTP — overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded pairs
• Form factor: flat / slim profile for low-rise routing
• Color: blue (visible indoor finish)
• Length: 10.0 m nominal
• Connector compatibility: RJ45-compatible patching

How to use

Route the flat cable along the desired path, keeping bends gentle to avoid sharp kinks. For under-carpet runs, ensure the surface is free of debris and lay the cable flat to minimise pressure points. Terminate or connect using standard RJ45 patch panels or keystone jacks compatible with CAT 7 U/FTP construction; follow connector manufacturer instructions if re-terminating. Keep cable runs separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain proper bend radii and avoid repeated tight folding. When installing near power lines or large electrical equipment, route the cable at a distance or use separate pathways to further reduce potential interference. Use appropriate strain relief at connector points and secure the flat cable with low-profile clips or adhesive channels to prevent movement.
