Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75520-SLY CAT 7 U/FTP platte RJ45, afgeschermd getwist, plat ontwerp

ShiverPeaks 75520-SLY CAT 7 U/FTP flat RJ45 cable is a shielded twisted-pair network cable in a low-profile, flat design. It is built to support high-speed Ethernet and LAN links while minimizing electromagnetic interference thanks to individual foil shielding around each pair (U/FTP). The flat construction makes the cable easy to route along walls, under carpets, and through narrow channels without bulky bends, and the RJ45 terminations provide compatibility with common network equipment.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding around each twisted pair reduces crosstalk and improves signal integrity in environments with potential interference. The CAT 7 specification enables higher bandwidth capacity compared with lower-category cables, facilitating stable gigabit and multi-gigabit connections. The flat profile simplifies installation in confined spaces and yields a neat appearance when routed along surfaces or under floor coverings.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, and network sockets in home and office networks
• High-speed Ethernet and multi-gigabit LAN links where EMI reduction is needed
• Routing along skirting boards, under carpets, or through tight cable channels
• Data-cabinet and structured cabling runs that require low-profile cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with foil shielding on each pair)
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated
• Design: flat, slim profile for low-profile routing
• Color: yellow
• Length: 10.0 m

How to use

Route the flat cable along the desired path, keeping bends gentle to preserve the cable geometry. Insert the RJ45 plug into compatible Ethernet ports on routers, switches, network sockets, or devices until it latches. For permanent routing under carpets or along skirting, ensure the cable is laid flat and not pinched under furniture or doors. Avoid sharp kinks and pulling the cable with excessive force to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as mains power cables or large transformers. When installing in long runs or within patch panels, verify connectors and terminations for secure contact and consider testing the link with a network tester to confirm expected throughput.
