Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75711-A1.5S CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, 1,5 m

The ShiverPeaks 75711-A1.5S CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF network cable is a 1.5 m patch cable designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It features S/FTP shielding with pair-in-metal-foil (PIMF) construction to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission between switches, routers and patch panels in office and data center setups. The cable is halogen-free and intended for environments where signal integrity and reduced interference are important.

Advantages

The S/FTP design with individual foil-shielded pairs improves noise rejection compared to unshielded cables and helps maintain performance across high frequencies required by CAT 6A. With a 1.5 m length, the cable suits short interconnections in patch cabinets and desktop setups while minimizing excess slack. The halogen-free jacket reduces potential harmful emissions in case of fire and the cable meets certified mechanical and electrical standards for reliable network operation.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links between switches and patch panels
• Connections from routers to access switches in office networks
• Short runs in data center top-of-rack and patching environments
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved crosstalk performance

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil plus individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs with PIMF construction
• Length: 1.5 m
• Data rate: supports 10 Gbit/s applications
• Jacket: halogen-free
• Color: black

How to use

Connect the RJ45 connectors to the corresponding ports on network devices such as switches, routers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt to secure the connection. Use the 1.5 m length for short links inside racks or between nearby devices to avoid excess cable management. Avoid tight bends and crushing; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this CAT 6A S/FTP cable in shielded or mixed environments where electromagnetic interference is present. Terminate and route shielded cables separately from power cabling where possible, and ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and racks to maximize the benefits of the S/FTP and PIMF shielding.
