Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 10m wit U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 10m White U/FTP networking cable delivers a high-performance wired connection for home and office networks. This 10-metre Cat7 cable uses U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward plug-and-play installation. The white jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance that integrates well with modern interiors while supporting high-speed data transfer and stable network links for routers, switches, computers and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Advantages

The cable’s U/FTP construction offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives, contributing to more consistent throughput and lower error rates on busy networks. Cat7 performance characteristics support higher frequencies and greater bandwidth headroom for demanding applications. The 10-metre length balances reach and signal quality for typical room-to-room or equipment-to-switch connections, while the factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• Wired internet connections between router and desktop or laptop
• Connections from network switches to access points or patch panels
• Home offices, living rooms, and small business network setups
• Devices requiring stable, low-latency Ethernet such as IP cameras and media players

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 10 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Outer jacket color: White
• Data transmission: Designed for high-speed Ethernet applications and elevated frequency support

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and insert the other connector into your computer, smart TV, IP camera or network device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks and route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks which can degrade signal quality. For best results, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise and avoid running it in parallel with mains power lines over long distances.

Recommendations

Use the cable for fixed, high-reliability links where wireless variability is undesirable. When installing in permanently routed or concealed locations, verify bend radius and anchoring to maintain shielding integrity and long-term performance.
