Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 10m zwart U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 10m Black U/FTP networking cable provides a 10-meter connection with U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Designed to support high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gbps, this black cable is suitable for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. The U/FTP (unshielded pair with foil overall and individual pair foil) construction reduces crosstalk and external interference, delivering stable network performance over its 10 meter length.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 specification and U/FTP shielding offer improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with lower-category unshielded cables. Its RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network devices such as switches, routers and network interface cards. The 10 m length provides flexible placement options for desktop setups, home entertainment systems and small office networks while maintaining support for high data rates up to 10 Gbps.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, switches and routers
• Home network wiring for streaming, gaming and media devices
• Small office network links and patch cabling
• High-bandwidth applications requiring reduced interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 10 meters
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Color: Black

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as a router, switch or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid running parallel to electrical power lines where possible to minimize potential interference. For wall ports or structured cabling, use appropriate patch panels or keystone jacks compatible with RJ-45 connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for distances within its 10 m length and avoid sharp bends or kinks. When installing in environments with significant electromagnetic noise, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and consider using shielded connectors and panels to maintain the benefits of U/FTP shielding.
