Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m grijs U/FTP STP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m Grey U/FTP STP networking cable provides a 1-metre connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and shielded twisted pair construction for stable, high-speed data transmission. Designed for structured cabling in home and office environments, this grey Cat7 cable supports demanding network tasks where reduced interference and reliable throughput are required.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable uses U/FTP (overall unshielded jacket with foil-shielded twisted pairs) STP construction to lower crosstalk and electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. The 1 m length keeps connections neat and prevents excess cable clutter. RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network ports, while the durable outer jacket offers physical protection for regular installation and repositioning.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and network devices within a rack or desktop setup
• High-speed Ethernet links where shielded cabling is preferred to reduce interference
• Home offices and small business workstations requiring short, reliable patch connections
• Environments with nearby power cables or electronic equipment where shielding improves signal integrity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 specification for high-frequency network transmission
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Shielding: U/FTP (foil individually shielded pairs) with an overall jacket
• Color: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking and data transmission

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors click into place. Use the 1 m cable to create short patch links between switches, routers, modems and endpoints. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For installations requiring multiple cables, label both ends to simplify future maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat7 U/FTP cable for short patching tasks and where shielding will reduce interference. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain gentle bend radii during installation to preserve signal quality and connector integrity.
