Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 3m wit

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable, 3 meters in length and finished in white, is designed for high-speed wired connections where reliability and signal integrity matter. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain stable contacts and minimize signal loss. Its three-metre length suits typical home and office layouts, enabling connections between routers, switches, desktop PCs, NAS devices and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against external noise and crosstalk compared with unshielded or lesser-shielded cables, supporting consistent throughput for demanding network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance corrosion resistance and electrical contact quality for long-term use. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequencies and faster data rates, while the 3 m length offers flexibility without excessive cable slack. The white jacket delivers a neutral appearance that integrates with most interiors.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 (Class F parallels)
• Length: 3 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: White
• Supported frequencies: up to 600 MHz (Cat7 typical range)
• Suitable for Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to the router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connector clips lock securely into place for a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, heavy compression or proximity to strong electromagnetic sources to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity. For wall or furniture routing, use gentle bends and appropriate cable guides to prevent stress on the connectors.
