Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 3m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 3m Black networking cable delivers a standardized Cat7 connection with S/FTP shielding to support high-speed Ethernet links and reduced electromagnetic interference. The 3-meter length provides flexibility for home or office installations while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors maintain contact reliability and help ensure stable data transmission. The black jacket offers a neutral aesthetic that integrates easily into existing cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around the twisted pairs and overall foil shield improves resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise, supporting more reliable throughput in congested environments. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and contribute to consistent contact quality over time. The Cat7 specification enables higher bandwidth capability compared with earlier categories, making the cable suitable for fast wired networks and demanding data-transfer tasks.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 3 meters
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper conductors suitable for Ethernet cabling
• Jacket color: black
• Typical supported speeds: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet (dependent on network hardware)

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of a network device such as a router, switch, NAS or computer and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separate from power lines where possible to minimize electromagnetic interference. For fixed wall or patch panel installations, confirm that the 3 m length provides the required reach and that strain relief is applied if necessary.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for wired connections that require stable, low-interference links. For the best performance, pair the cable with compatible Gigabit or multi-gigabit network equipment and avoid excessive bending radii. Periodically inspect connector contacts for dust or damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
