Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7.5m networking cable provides a 7.5 meter connection with U/FTP (STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for structured cabling where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are needed, the white cable supports contemporary networking standards and is suitable for linking routers, switches, network interface cards and other Ethernet devices at home or in office environments.

Advantages

The U/FTP (shielded twisted pair with overall foil) construction reduces crosstalk and protects against external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over the full 7.5 m length. Cat7 specification enables higher frequencies and improved performance compared with older categories while the standardized RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common Ethernet equipment. The white jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates into residential and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, NAS devices and servers to a router or switch
• Wired connections in home networks and small office LANs
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD/4K streaming, large file transfers and online gaming
• Temporary or semi-permanent cabling where a 7.5 m length is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor type: stranded copper (for flexibility)
• Outer jacket color: white

How to use

Route the cable between devices avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into standard Ethernet ports until they click. For wall-mounted or under-desk routing, secure the cable with clips or Velcro straps to prevent strain on the connectors. When connecting network hardware, power down devices only if recommended by the equipment manufacturer; most modern devices support hot-plugging Ethernet cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from mains power cables and large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 7.5 m length to minimize excess slack; if additional length is needed, connect via a network switch rather than splicing or using unshielded adapters to preserve shielding effectiveness.
