Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7,5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable in 7.5 m length is a shielded S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for stable, high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. This Cat7 cable supports high-frequency signaling with reduced crosstalk thanks to individual pair foil shielding and an overall braided shield. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance while the 7.5 m black jacket offers flexible routing and a discreet appearance behind desks or in networking cabinets.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction minimizes electromagnetic interference and protects signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated connectors ensure consistent conductivity and resist tarnishing. The 7.5 m length covers typical desk-to-switch distances without excess slack. The black outer sheath is flexible yet robust, suitable for repeated installation and repositioning.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, routers, switches and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Small office and home network setups requiring shielded cabling
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (S/FTP)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: Individual pair foil shielding plus overall braided shield
• Color: Black outer jacket
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs (four pairs)

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port on your device and the other plug to a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-compression points; maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking to preserve performance. For best results, plug the cable into Gigabit-capable ports when using high-speed network equipment.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in setups where reduced interference and reliable high-speed transmission are important. Avoid running the cable in parallel and in close contact with power cables to minimize possible noise. If routing through tight conduits or cable trays, verify bend radius guidelines and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors.
